1. Nature of the service
LMA is a technological intermediary connecting travellers with Lanzarote operators and restaurants — not a tour operator or package-travel organizer. Upon booking, a service contract forms with the Operator and an intermediation contract with LMA, which collects payment on the Operator's behalf. Full identification in the Legal Notice.
2. Temporary spot hold (Yield Lock)
When you open a deal, LMA genuinely holds your spot for 60 seconds on the detail screen and 60 more on the payment screen. During that time the spot is removed from inventory so no one else can buy it — it is not a mere pressure countdown. If you do not complete payment, the spot is released automatically.
3. Price
Final price with IGIC included + a €1.80 service fee per booking (shown separately at checkout). No hidden charges.
4. No statutory right of withdrawal
Per Art. 16(l) Directive 2011/83/EU, leisure services for a specific date and time are excluded from the 14-day cooling-off right due to their perishable nature. Our cancellation policy below is more favourable.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Last-minute spots are perishable. User-initiated refunds follow this table:

Full refund guaranteed (fee included) in these closed cases: (a) Operator cancellation, (b) Operator failure to deliver, (c) force majeure or weather for outdoor/sea activities, (d) cancellation of a public event the activity depends on. Automatic refund in 3-7 business days, or free rescheduling.
6. Adventure Passport subscription
The subscription fee (€5/24h · €10/month · €60/year) grants immediate access to inventory and plan benefits. As an immediately-accessed digital service, once the benefit is used the fee is non-refundable, without prejudice to mandatory withdrawal rights under applicable consumer law (e.g. pro-rata refund for DE/AT residents under § 312k BGB where applicable). The subscription is rolling and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
7. User obligations
- Accurate data, punctual arrival, follow safety instructions.
- Declare medical conditions, meet age requirements.
- Respect the environment (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).
8. Liability
LMA is responsible for the platform and payments. The Operator is solely responsible for activity delivery and must hold civil liability insurance. Contact the Operator first, then hello@lastminute-adventure.com.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, nor any mandatory consumer rights (including, where applicable, the UK UCTA 1977 and Consumer Rights Act 2015).
9. Reviews
Post-activity reviews are moderated for defamation and third-party personal data — not for being negative.
10. Governing law
Spanish law. Courts of Arrecife, unless consumer law mandates the consumer's domicile. EU ODR: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
